Starting this Wednesday, the IRCTC portal will be open for booking Kedarnath Heli services as part of the Chardham Yatra. The booking window will be open for May 8, 9, and 10, allowing travelers to plan their pilgrimage ahead of time. The CEO of UCADA, C Ravi Shankar, has confirmed that the booking process will begin at 12 noon on May 3 through the IRCTC portal. This online booking system offers a more convenient and hassle-free way for pilgrims to secure their travel arrangements, avoiding the need for long queues and waiting times.
Pilgrims planning to embark on the Kedarnath Yatra can now conveniently book online tickets from Guptkashi, Sirsi, and Phata through the IRCTC website. Additionally, C Ravi Shankar has confirmed that the IRCTC website also offers a same-day ticket booking facility for Kedarnath Heli service tickets that have been canceled during the day. This means that pilgrims who experience last-minute changes or cancellations can still secure their travel arrangements without having to go through the hassle of booking in person or waiting for availability.
