A total of 1738 seats were booked during this time. However, the operation of the heli service was brought to a halt on Wednesday due to heavy rain and snowfall in Kedarnath Dham.

According to C. Ravi Shankar, the CEO of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA), IRCTC opened a portal for booking heli tickets for travel between May 8 and 10. Within a mere 38 minutes, all the tickets for the three-day period had been sold out, indicating a strong demand for the service.

The CEO of Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA), C. Ravi Shankar, has reported that the weather has been causing disruptions to the heli service operations. As of May 3, the service from Guptkashi, Sirsi, and Phata helipads has been suspended. The heli service to Kedarnath began on April 25 and, as of May 2, a total of 964 flights were conducted by eight aviation companies. These flights carried 5,342 passengers to Kedarnath via helicopter and 5,116 passengers have returned from the shrine.
