The glorious Lake Pichola is a artificial lake located in the heart of Udaipur, Rajasthan. Pichhu Banjara made this artificial lake Pichola at the time of Maharana Lakha's in 1362 AD, 3-mile-long Pichola Lake with a depth of 30 feet. History of Lake Pichola

Lake Pichola was counterfeited by Pichhu Banjara, a rogue tribe transporting grain, at the center of Maharana Lakha in 1362. The importance of the word 'Pichola' is the 'garden' and the lake was named after the town of 'Picholi' nearby. Maharana Udai Singh has acquired the splendor of this lake, built the Udaipur on the banks of the lake.
