This year, it has been made mandatory for pilgrims from all over the world to register for the yatra, while the local residents of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Rudraprayag districts are exempted from registration. However, the slots for registration to visit Kedarnath Dham from 25th to 27th April have already been filled, and online registrants are now being allotted dates after 27th April to embark on their pilgrimage to Kedarnath Dham. Meanwhile, registration slots are still available for Badrinath Dham, Yamunotri, and Gangotri Dham, indicating the varying demand and availability for different pilgrimage destinations in the Chardham Yatra.
