The online registration for the Char Dham Yatra has commenced today, as the tourism department opened its portal at seven in the morning. Initially, devotees can register for visiting the Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham, while the registration process for Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will begin after the announcement of the date of opening of the temple doors.

The number of vehicles that traveled to these places was also quite significant, with approximately five lakh vehicles reaching these destinations. This year, it is expected that the numbers will be even higher. In preparation for the anticipated increase, the police have made special arrangements for parking and have designated maximum parking space in Haridwar. These arrangements aim to ensure that the Chardham Yatra 2023 is organized smoothly and without any inconvenience to the devotees.
