In the previous year, the holy sites of Chardham and Hemkund Sahib witnessed a huge influx of more than 46 lakh devotees. The number of vehicles that traveled to these places was also quite significant, with approximately five lakh vehicles reaching these destinations. This year, it is expected that the numbers will be even higher. In preparation for the anticipated increase, the police have made special arrangements for parking and have designated maximum parking space in Haridwar. These arrangements aim to ensure that the Chardham Yatra 2023 is organized smoothly and without any inconvenience to the devotees.
