How to Reach Amarnath Cave

Baltal Trek
It is about 14 km and a difficult trek due to the steep climb.
Pahalgam Trek
It is about 47 km from Amarnath Cave. Its first point is Chandvari which is about 16 km away from Base Camp. After that, the real trek starts.

Helicopters fly from Pahalgam helipad and land at Panchtarni helipad which is about 6 km from the Cave.
