In just two days, an impressive 9.60 lakh Kanwariyas have already obtained the revered Gangajal for their pilgrimage.
The Kanwar fair commenced on Tuesday, witnessing the arrival of 1.10 lakh Kanwariyas from various states who eagerly filled their containers with Gangajal in Haridwar. Although the first day had a relatively low number of Shiva devotees, the situation quickly changed on the second day as the influx of participants began to rise. A significant surge in Shiva devotees was observed, with a large congregation from the Harki Paidi area to Kanwar Mela Bazar, located in Pantdweep’s Rodibelwala.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh, the count of Kanwariyas is steadily growing. On the second day of the Kanwar fair, an impressive 8.50 lakh Kanwariyas departed with their containers filled with Gangajal. In just two days, a total of 9.60 lacks Kanwariyas have embarked on their pilgrimage, carrying the sacred Gangajal with them toward their ultimate destination.
