Corbett National Park: Foreign guests who came to the G-20 summit saw tigers, went on a jungle safari
Foreign guests who arrived in Ramnagar to attend the G-20 conference had the opportunity to embark on a jungle safari adventure in the Corbett Tiger Reserve. The group set out on their safari through the Bijrani Zone in 30 gypsies and were treated to sightings of various wildlife species. Among the highlights of the trip was a sighting of a majestic tiger within Corbett Park. In addition to the tiger, the group was also fortunate enough to observe several bird species, as well as elephant deer and sambar. The guests were taken on different routes within the Bijrani Zone to maximize their wildlife viewing experience. Dr. Dheeraj Pandey, the director of Corbett Park, provided expert guidance throughout the safari.
A group of high-ranking officials, including PCCF Hoff Vinod Singhal, PCCF Wildlife Samir Sinha, Corbett Park Director Dr. Dhiraj Pandey, Deputy Director Diganth Nayak, and Park Warden Amit Gwasikoti, embarked on a jungle safari together. The group likely shared their vast knowledge and expertise regarding the park’s flora and fauna during their excursion. Meanwhile, after attending the summit, three delegates arrived at the Pantnagar airport the following morning. Excited personnel at the airport were eager to snap selfies with the important guests before they departed for Dehradun on an Indigo flight.
In addition to experiencing the thrill of a jungle safari, foreign tourists were also able to learn about the biodiversity, public participation, and harmony that exists within the Corbett Tiger Reserve. The park administration warmly welcomed the visitors, making them feel at home during their stay. At the Amdanda Gate, local women donning traditional attire greeted the foreign guests with Tilak, which left a lasting impression on them. The warm reception and hospitality shown by the park administration and local residents made the guests feel welcomed and appreciated during their visit to the Corbett Tiger Reserve.
