Bhuj is located in Kutch in Gujarat. Bhuj city is in foot hill of Bhujia Hill and later this town people worshiped to Bhujang mean snake god and due to it this town is known as Bhuj and was founded by Rao Hamir. At eastern side of Bhuj city is Bhujia Hill as well as a Bhujia Fort located on it and this fort is constructed by Jhareja, a Rajput to protect from the enemy or fort defence. View of city and other side look very fantactic from the top of Bhujia Hills. It is one of historical place in Indian history and its front gate and walls are constructed very well and strong.
Bhujang temple - Bhujang temple is the deity of temple or Nag Devta temple, people worship here to Nag Devta. Historical stories are behind this god snake temple.
Sharad Baug - Sharad Baug Palace is a palace of King Madan Singh built in 1867 until his death Sharad Baug is residence of King Madan Singh. Overall it is good looking historical structure.
The Aina Mahal - Aina mahal means Shese Ka Mahal is built by King Rao Lakhpatji’s master craftsman Ram Singh Malam in around year 1750. It is decorated by glass, tiles and mirror in European style. In 2001 earthquake, it is most part damaged but few parts of structure is stand and can view it.
Overall there are many places in Bhuj where you can go and view historical places which attracts many people, some popular destinations are The Prag Mahal is located next to the Shese ka Mahal , Hamirsar Lake is artificial lake is made by men in center of Bhuj city made Bhuj more attractive and good looking. Kutch Museum is also in Bhuj and it is the oldest Museum in Bhuj as well as Gujarat state in India. Another museum is Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Museum in Bhuj City. Swaminarayan Mandir is a Hindu temple was constructed by Swaminarayan and this temple is dedicated to God Narayan Dev Gadi.
Temperature in year equally hot, so better is November to February for visit here, because apart from these months, other months are very hot in summer and rainfall season too.
