This time on Chardham Yatra, there will be separate eye test of driver conductor, initiative to reduce accidents. Chief Medical Officer, Dehradun has appointed a team of six eye assistants. Which will conduct eye test of drivers and conductors coming to Chardham.This facility will be provided in the Divisional Transport Office complex, Rishikesh. It has been told in the letter sent by the Chief Medical Officer to ARTO Rishikesh, Anil Kumar of Coronation Hospital, Tamta from 7th May to 21st May, Rajendra Devradi from here from 22nd May to 6th June, Kshitij Bisht from 6th to 20th June, Akhilesh Sharma from 21st to 5th July, Dinesh Rawat of CHC Doiwala from 6th to 20th July and Neelam Payal 21. Will be on duty from July to August 4. During this period, eye test and health test of all drivers and conductors will also be done. The Transport Department has taken this initiative with the aim of reducing accidents. Ban on leave of transport workers during Chardham Yatra The Transport Headquarters has banned the leave of officers and employees of the Transport Department during the Chardham Yatra. Joint Transport Commissioner Sanat Kumar Singh said that like every year in Chardham, this year too this ban will remain effective during the Yatra. He said that leave will not be given except in unavoidable circumstances. Note: The Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand will start on 10 May 2024 and the Shri Kedarnath Yatra Kapat will be open on 10 May. Interested devotees can also do the Baba Kedarnath yatra in 2024. and also The registration of Shri Amarnath Ji will start on 15 April 2024.
