The chopper will undertake two shuttles daily, operating from 6 am to 9 am, ensuring a steady supply of essential materials. However, during this period, the helicopter service dedicated to the Kedarnath Yatra will be temporarily suspended to facilitate the reconstruction efforts.

Two dumpers, a Pokeland, a bridge-making pile machine, and other essential items will be efficiently transported by the Chinook. The District Magistrate has announced that starting today, the Chinook helicopter will begin its operations, transporting the construction materials from the Gauchar airstrip to Kedarnath. This time, a substantial 150 tonnes of construction material will be transported by the Chinook.
