The doors of Gangotri Dham will be closed at Abhijeet Muhurta on November 2 at 12:14 for winter. Ganga idol Doli will depart on 2nd November and stay at Markande temple at night. on 3rd November, the Ganga Doli reached Mukhwa. Devotees would visit Gangotri at Mukhwa for up to 6 months in winter.
