A helicopter being taken to Gauchar Airport for repairs crashed in Kedarnath on Saturday morning. While transferring the helicopter, which was forced to make an emergency landing due to a technical fault, the MI-17 started losing its balance due to the weight and wind of the helicopter.
It is planned to transport the helicopter to the Gauchar airstrip on Saturday with the help of an MI-17 aircraft for repairs. After covering a short distance, the MI-17 started losing its balance due to the weight and wind of the helicopter, due to which the helicopter fell near the Tharu camp. Fortunately there were no passengers or luggage in the helicopter. The rescue team reached the spot as soon as the information was received.
