11 Thousand Diyas lit at Har Ki Pauri on the occasion of Dev Diwali 2022

Dev Diwali festival is organized at Har Ki Pauri Ghat at Haridwar every year and this year this festival was done yesterday 8 November 2022 with 11 thousand Diyas lit at Ghat, Haridwar (light lamp). The festival of Dev Deepawali, to be held in the holy month of Kartik, was organized in Haridwar on Monday. This festival is celebrated with pomp under the aegis of Shri Ganga Sabha.

Dev Diwali 2022 Festival at Haridwar Ghats

Brahmakund and surrounding Ganga Ghats were decorated with lamps on Dev Deepawali at Har Ki Podi, Haridwar yesterday. Till late at night, there was movement on the ghats. There was also a view of fireworks on the ghats.

Every year the pilgrim priests celebrate the festival of Dev Deepawali by lighting thousands of Diyas on Har ki Pauri. After 15 days of Diwali, this festival celebrates in many places in India. On the occasion of Dev Deepawali, lakhs of earthen lamps were lit at various ghats in Varanasi. It is held at famous ghats like Assi and Dashashwamedh.
