The only respite amidst the continuous rainfall in the city was that the problem of dust blowing has subsided. Rajesh Sajwan, the director of Kempty Road Restaurant, stated that the hailstorm on Thursday resulted in the accumulation of white sheets of hail all around the area. The hailstorm has caused significant damage to crops, including mangoes. Atul Garg, a resident of the LBS Academy area, noted that the sudden rain and hailstorm have brought back the cold weather in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Meteorological Department has predicted a change in weather for the next five days, with a yellow alert issued for rain and hailstorms in hilly areas. There is also a possibility of snowfall in regions with an altitude of more than 3500 meters. Bikram Singh, the director of the Meteorological Center, stated that there could be light to moderate rainfall in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand from February 16 to 20. However, there is also a potential threat to life and property due to hailstorms and lightning.
