Several solar power plants have been established through this program, but until now the state has not produced its own solar panels. This will change as Luminous Power Technology is planning to establish a solar panel manufacturing plant, marking the first such plant in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luminous Power Technology is setting up a solar panel plant in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiaeasytrip.com\/uttarakhand.html\">Uttarakhand<\/a>&#8216;s Pantnagar in Udham Singh Nagar district to manufacture green solar panels. The plant will have the capacity to produce 40 to 600-watt panels that can be used for both residential and commercial electricity generation through solar energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The state government is promoting the use of solar energy through the Chief Minister Solar Energy Self-Employment Scheme. This scheme has led to the creation of multiple solar power plants, however, solar panels were not made in the state. Luminous Power Technology is now breaking that barrier by setting up its first solar panel plant in the state with a capacity of 500 MW per year on a 12-acre plot of land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preeti Bajaj, the head of Luminous Power Technology, announced that the company will install its first solar panel in Rudrapur. This move is a significant step for the company in the field of clean energy. The latest technology will be utilized in this advanced facility to create top-notch solar panels for homes and businesses.
