The accused individual, a resident of Jakhan, promised the passengers tickets for their journey but failed to deliver on the day of travel. When confronted about a refund, the accused resorted to issuing threats. Consequently, a case has been filed against the youth on charges of cheating.

According to Rajpur Jitendra Singh Chauhan, Vineet Jhanwar, a resident of Vardhaman Nagar in Maharashtra, has filed a complaint regarding the incident. Vineet had planned to travel to Kedarnath with 17 of his relatives from Nagpur. However, he encountered an issue related to their journey, which prompted him to seek assistance and report the matter.

During the process of booking a helicopter, Vineet Jhanwar contacted a mobile number where the caller identified himself as Jakhan Dehradun, residing in Anurag Uniyal. The individual claimed that he could arrange a helicopter ticket for the journey to Kedarnath from their designated location in Phata. However, in order to secure the booking, an advance payment of Rs 1.80 lakh was required.

Trusting the offer, Vineet Jhanwar proceeded to deposit Rs 1.44 lakh into Uniyal’s Rishikesh-based company on May 23. After four days, he received a call from Uniyal, requesting him to transfer the remaining amount through NEFT as well. Subsequently, Uniyal provided the necessary details for Vineet to complete the transaction.

On May 28, when Vineet Jhanwar informed Anurag Uniyal about their scheduled trip to Kedarnath from Phata at 12 o’clock, Uniyal began evading the matter and giving vague responses. Despite waiting at the designated location, no tickets were sent as promised. Faced with this situation, Vineet and his relatives decided to cancel their journey and requested a refund of their money. However, Anurag Uniyal refused to comply. Consequently, a case of cheating has been registered against Anurag Uniyal in connection with this incident.

Source Of News.

18 people from Maharashtra were cheated of 1.80 lakhs in the name of Kedarnath heli ticket Summary Vineet Jhanwar, a resident of Vardhaman Nagar in Maharashtra, has lodged a complaint with the police.
