At the cost of 22 crores, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Chardham Yatra Transit Camp near ISBT. The camp aims to provide a convenient transit point for pilgrims embarking on the Chardham Yatra. During the inauguration, the Chief Minister personally interacted with the pilgrims and emphasized the importance of ensuring their comfort and convenience. Additionally, he inaugurated the CC Marg, located on the right bank of the Chandrabhaga River, further enhancing the infrastructure for the pilgrims’ journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Char Dham<\/a><\/strong><\/em> Transit Camp has been constructed near the ISBT premises, costing approximately 22 crores. The building, designed in the traditional Pahari style, consists of three stories. It houses camp offices for all the departments involved in facilitating the pilgrimage. On the top floor, there is a dormitory with around 112 beds, providing affordable accommodation for travelers during their overnight stays. Additionally, the ground floor features a clinic with five beds, ensuring medical assistance is readily available to pilgrims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Char Dham Transit Camp has dedicated doctors and para-medical staff assigned for different shifts to provide medical services to the pilgrims. The camp building also includes a restaurant facility, ensuring that food options are available for the visitors. Chief Minister Dhami inaugurated the building on Wednesday and took the opportunity to inspect various amenities and services provided for the convenience of the Chardham Yatris. He personally reviewed the functioning of the hospital, registration office, inquiry, and help center within the transit camp, ensuring that all arrangements are in place for the pilgrims’ needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While conducting the inspection, Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the importance of making comprehensive arrangements to ensure the convenience of the passengers. He instructed the officials to treat the passengers with the utmost courtesy and provide them with all necessary facilities. Additionally, the Chief Minister personally interacted with devotees who had traveled from various states for the Chardham Yatra, extending a warm welcome to everyone in the sacred land of Uttarakhand, also known as Devbhoomi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
