Heavy snowfall in Badrinath and Kedarnath, two popular Hindu pilgrimage sites located in the Indian Himalayas.
After the snowfall in the mountains of Uttarakhand on Monday, up to 2 feet of snow has accumulated in Badrinath Dham. Along with this, snow jams have also occurred in Hemkund Sahib, Valley of Flowers, and Rudranath.
Along with this, 3 feet of Snowfall happened in Kedarnath and 2 feet were already there. Kedarnath currently has 5 feet of snow. The temperature in Kedarnath has been recorded.
Snowfall has also occurred in Dhanaulti’s Surkanda and Chakrata is also covered with snow at this time.
