How to reach Robber’s Cave

Guchchupani, also known as Robber’s Cave, is conveniently located approximately 10 kilometers away from Dehradun Railway Station, making it easily accessible for visitors. The journey from the railway station to the cave takes around half an hour. Taxis are readily available outside the railway station, and you can hire one to reach your destination. The taxi fare typically ranges from Rs 100 to Rs 150. Alternatively, you can opt for a shared auto, which is another convenient and cost-effective mode of transportation to reach Guchchupani.

Cost of visiting Guchchupani

To reach Guchchupani, a short 5-minute walk from the road is required. However, if you prefer not to walk, you have the option of taking a rickshaw to reach the entrance. The entry ticket for Guchchupani is priced at 30 rupees per person. Upon arrival, you will find rental slippers available right outside the entrance. It is advisable to remove your shoes and wear these slippers before entering the cave, as the water inside can make your shoes wet. The rental cost for the slippers is around Rs. 10.
