The authorities have announced the fixed road fare for the Chardham Yatra which is set to commence on April 22 this year. To facilitate the pilgrimage, three categories of buses have been made available to transport devotees to Chardham. The fare for a single passenger traveling on a luxury bus is set at Rs 5700. The rotation committee will oversee and conduct the 10-day yatra, with the government providing its supervision to ensure the safety and smooth functioning of the pilgrimage. Bus service bookings for the yatra will be available offline in Rishikesh.
Itinerary Route: Rishikesh-Barkot (1st day-rest)-Yamunotri Dham (2nd day)-Barkot (rest)-Uttarkashi (3rd day-rest), Gangotri Dham (4th day)-Uttarkashi (rest)- Sonprayag or Guptkashi (5th day) day – rest) – Kedarnath Dham (6th day – rest) – Sonprayag or Guptkashi (7th day – rest) – Peepalkoti (8th day – rest) – Badrinath Dham (9th day) – Pipalkoti (rest) – Rishikesh (10th day).
