Auli and Badrinath Dham blanketed in snow

Tourism-related business owners in Auli are thrilled with the weekend snowfall. They anticipate a good number of tourists visiting the area due to the holiday on the second Saturday and Sunday. The snowfall was heavy in places like Auli, while low-lying areas like Joshimath, Gopeshwar, and Chamoli experienced rain.
A national-level skiing competition is scheduled to take place in Auli on February 23rd and the recent snowfall on Thursday and Friday has raised hopes for its success. The competition has been eagerly awaited and the snowfall has further increased excitement for the games.

High-altitude areas may see snowfall, and there is a risk of lightning in some places. The weather is expected to clear up from Saturday for the next few days.
