New Delhi to Shimla by Car, bus, and taxi distance is around of 360 km via NH4 & NH5 and take 8 to 9 hours. Haridwar to Shimla by road distance is 315 km and 7 hours journey.
Train way:
You can get a train for Shimla from Haridwar, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, etc, and enjoy the journey of the train while coming to Kalka railway station. The Kalka Railway Station is the nearest railway station of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, and 95 km from Shimla Hill Sation.
Air Way:
Shimla Airport (SLV) is located in Jubbarhatti and 22 km from Shimla City. You can receive a flight for Shimla from New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, etc.

Best time to reach Shimla

Shimla is a popular honeymoon destination. The best time to reach Shimla is May to June and December to January month. Often couples visit Shimla throughout the year, but winter is the most visited time for couples and can enjoy the snow and other activity playing in the snow.
